Teachers have had to adjust their lessons and methods for the virtual and socially distanced space during these unprecedented times. Educators have been asked to go above and beyond to provide students the quality education they deserve.
To celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week, LCEF would like to reward educators for their hard work this past year by sponsoring a meal for five lucky LCMS-affiliated schools (3 PK-12th grade).
Rules:
Nominate an LCMS-affiliated school to be entered to win a meal sponsored by Lutheran Church Extension Fund.
Dates:
Schools will be nominated throughout the week of National Lutheran Schools Week, starting January 25 and ending January 30, at 4:00 P.M. CT. Winners will be announced Wednesday, February 3, at 3:00 P.M. CT., on LCEF’s Facebook page. We understand some schools may be only virtual learning. The date the school receives the meal is at the winning school’s choosing.
Prizes:
Five winners will be randomly selected after the January 30 deadline. The meal will be equivalent to or up to $500.
Lutheran Church Extension Fund shall solely determine the specifics of the prize. There is no substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of the award to others, or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Lutheran Church Extension Fund to use Winner’s name, likeness and entry for advertising and trade purposes without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
Eligibility:
This contest is open to any LCMS-affiliated 3 PK-12th grade school. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations—void where prohibited.
Terms & Conditions
The contest hosted by Lutheran Church Extension Fund is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.
Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at Lutheran Church Extension Fund’s sole discretion. You must provide the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple identities in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Lutheran Church Extension Fund.
Lutheran Church Extension Fund reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Lutheran Church Extension Fund’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the contest. In such a case, Lutheran Church Extension Fund may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after the (if appropriate) action was taken by Lutheran Church Extension Fund. Lutheran Church Extension Fund reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the contest or website or violates these Terms & Conditions.
Winner Selection and Notification:
Winners will be selected at random under the supervision of Lutheran Church Extension Fund. Lutheran Church Extension Fund shall have no liability for the winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect contact information.
Contest Timeline:
Entries will be accepted online at LCEF’s Interest Time webpage starting January 25. and ending January 30. All online entries must be received by January 30, at 4:00 P.M. CT. Winners will be announced Wednesday, February 3, at 3:00 P.M. CT.
Agreement to Rules:
By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you or the school you nominate meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept Lutheran Church Extension Fund’s decisions as final and binding as it relates to the content of this contest.
